Jimmy will never forget!

So the bike stroller is getting a bit crowded and heavy to pull lately, and Jimmy's birthday is coming up...

It was decided to get Jimmy his present a bit early.
We tried out a couple at the store...
This one wasn't quite right...

This one wasn't right either.

We found FLASH! FLASH is perfect. It is even his favorite colors.

We got Jimmy helmeted and padded him up and sent him on his way.

Pneumonia got to go for a ride, too, strapped on much like a deer hunters' trophy.

Bye Jimmy! Be back for dinner!

Jimmy also helps keep the bikes clean.

And what is Joey doing during all this bicycling excitement?

Napping, generally, or reading a good book.

And what has Mama been doing? Painting murals! Click here to see the finished* murals in the boys' rooms.

*Jimmy has asked for more animals and birds, and then a snake and a turtle...

Happy Happy HAPPY!!!

So we went and watched this submarine pull in...

We were all excited that day, Jimmy so much I couldn't get a picture!

DADDY'S HOME!!!!

Just in time for an egg hunt!

Everyone has their buckets!

Now I wonder if they will find any eggs...

Younger kids got to go first.

Jimmy had to wait.

Then all eggs broke loose.

After some preliminary running, Jimmy gathered a fair bunch.

Jimmy has gotten to share a couple of nice breakfasts with Daddy.

Joey likes to share ice cream.

The boys do a great job filling my fountain/planter with rocks.

My orchid on the top is starting to bloom! It smells like chocolate.

I also have been working on Jimmy's big mural. This was the first days' work.

Happy Easter!

Another mural down

Well, we are rapidly closing in on the time before daddy arrives, and I finished another mural.

This is the second one in Joey's room and I will eventually add to the pattern.
Here is the start of it.

The boys helped in their own unique way...

I know Jimmy isn't wearing a shirt, don't ask...

This is the mural finished as the pattern allows. I will eventually add more road behind the red car and add our family riding our bikes, but not until I finish Jimmy's mural...

Joey likes it! I modified the pattern a little to make the truck an ice cream truck and the plane more like one of the local carriers...
