Jeff was named CPO Selectee and has been running like a chicken with no head doing his induction stuff...
I have been busting my butt at the gym getting ready for the Khaki Ball, and the boys are just being the boys.
We took a break last week and had Pajama Day. We made sugar cookies for Daddy. Jimmy was in charge of the sprinkles.
We are very proud of Daddy!
Jimmy otherwise is hard to capture on film most days.
Joey is learning to use a spoon.

Daddy and the rest of the Chiefs' Mess ran the Blackberry Run this Saturday.
Daddy had to leave early and we met up later.
We caught up to them while the were stretching . I like how all their shorts and shoes reflect the flash...
Watching them get warmed up was neat. Hearing them all counting together was really loud. It's how we found them from a couple of blocks away. They were tucked away in a parking garage...
Daddy called the cadence for parts of the race. We could hear them coming!
Jimmy, Joey and I stood along the race route and cheered Daddy on. Everyone thought Jimmy was cute with his sign and he got his picture taken many times!
We knew the group would be headed for the fountains, so we went there to wait.
Joey got to run around while we waited. Jimmy insisted on waiting with his sign.
They ran right past us and Jimmy chased after them with his sign. I had to turn the camera off and chase after him!
Then we stood and watched as they recited the Sailor's Creed and sang "Anchors Aweigh".
Very cool to watch! There are many more activities this weekend, and lots of action while we prepare for our move in December. Oh Yea! I forgot! We're moving! In December! Back to Hawaii! Yahoo!

Hawaii? That will be lovely. Thought of you last weekend while I was sewing (for the first time in a year!). Must get warmed up for making Halloween costumes.
