Nothing new, but new to you!

Hello everyone!
Here are some pictures I took a while back but they didn't make it onto the site.

We are without a camera still, but I am working on that!

Here are Daddy and Jimmy riding one of the Kitsap Live Steamers trains. Jimmy wasn't as excited about this as I thought he would be, but he was just starting in on a nasty cold...

Jeff and I are looking forward to our getaway in Portland, which is no longer a surprise, given that he fessed up to having peeked at the back account to find out what I was up to, the sneaky sneak! We are also still trying to decide if we will take Jimmy trick -or - treating downtown...
who knows...
I hope that I will soon have a camera and will be able to show you more of my cute boys, especially in their costumes...

There are no pictures today or for a while...

We were having a grand ol' time this last weekend , and Mommy dropped the camera and broke it!
Oops! There will be a replacement soon...

Mean while go make some circus noodles (you know- those sugar cookies with the cinnamon and sugar on top) and enjoy some cocoa. That's what Jimmy will be doing!

Catch and release

Good morning everyone!

Yesterday was a busy day of bug hunting.
We got this great puzzle in the mail from Aunt Camas and Uncle Gak, and it arrived just in time. We had no electricity all afternoon while the downstairs of our house was being rewired...




Jimmy spent a good long time playing catch and release, and putting the bugs back before catching them again.





He's really good at it, too, I figured he would take the magnet in his hand and get them that way, but he uses the net and swings the magnet like you are supposed to! Way to go hand eye coordination!

Dandelion Wishes

Sweater weather has arrived, and I am trying to get Jimmy outside as much as possible before the winter rain starts.

There are lots of fun things to play with in our yard, like this beam to balance on and the calico behind him to chase around. This cat really wants into our house, but Melodie won't let him(?) past the back steps. He is a very nice and large cat, and he nearly knocks Jimmy over when he rubs up on Jimmy's legs!


We also have lots of dandelion wishes to make.
First you have to pick the danelion.


Then you blow the seeds off and make your wishes!


Have a dandelion, Mommy!


The yellow ones don't grant your wishes, unless you are wishing for less dandelions.


The outside cat has some competition for any treats put out for him at night!
