Jimmy's birthday is creeping ever closer. I still am having trouble thinking about him turning three already, even though he tells me every day!
For his birthday he has asked for four things: a chocolate rainbow cake, presents (green ones), a magic cape and party hats.
I took advantage of a recent nap and made these!
He will get to choose who wears which one, but I hope I get the one with the bugs! And I made the crown adjustable, just in case!

Last weekend
We took a trip to visit Camas and Mak.
It is a long drive for two little boys, and they eventually slept well in the hotel.
Jimmy enjoyed having his own big bed.
Joey was just glad to be out of the car!
It snowed on us, so Jimmy decided to try and catch some on his tongue.
Then we met and had great fun with Freya!
Lots of hugs and kisses exchanged.
Camas took us to the farm store to get some supplies for her class room.
We got "Peepers"! They were a lot of fun to hold and pet gently. Jimmy was fairly gentle despite the look in his eye in this picture.
Those chicks get everywhere!
Jeff digs chicks,too!
The boys all helped get the brooder ready for the peepers.
Jimmy found a cage and pretended he was a tiger in the zoo. I was outvoted to leave him in there, but by a slim margin...
We rode the carousel. Jimmy hated it, but Joey really had fun and got to ride his own horse!
Yeehaw!
We also went to the Aviation museum. Big time boy fun!
This is a really cool museum with many many planes to look at and go inside!
Clear the runway Jimmy!
The Spruce what?
The Spruce Goose! I couldn't get a good picture of it because it is so huge, ya know? Unbelievably big! In the foreground is a replica of a Sopwith Camel, all ready to go hunt down the Red Baron!
Jimmy got to play in the kid's area and there was a jet fighter that was Jimmy -sized
Eject! Eject!
He enjoyed these a bit more and was sure to line them all up then he was done.
The whole weekend was a great success and it is always good to see good friends!

Because they were covered in butter...
This has become the preferred bath time method...
How cute is this???
It is surprisingly not too hard to pull off. Jimmy squirts with the bath toys, Joey splashes, and Mama stays downstairs. *Bath time is Daddy time* Two boys bathed in the same amount of time, more or less.
And why were they covered in butter?
Because it was corn on the cob night and Joey wanted in on the action!
Yum! It will go a lot faster after he has more than two teeth to work on it with... But the did pretty well, considering...

March wrap up!
Now that the clematis was identified, I ask you, oh readers, what is this plant?
The flowers are waxy and about as big as my pinky fingernail.
The boys like watching the traffic go by...
Joey enjoys his phone and afternoons outside.
Jimmy has shiny white teeth, he'll gladly show them to you!
Balls!
But I was having fun with the balls over there!
Jimmy painted a new bird feeder. He picked this one because it was a gazebo.
He is also practicing riding his trike.
Jimmy was very sick over Easter weekend. Daddy got this little puppy to keep Jimmy company while he wasn't feeling well, and Jimmy named him the newest big word he learned. Pneumonia.
He got better.
Must have been all the kisses!
Go Griz!

Just one for now
Blogger is having issues uploading photos right now, and I have a ton to show, so I will try again later.
In the mean time, go look at my new bunny and the progress made on my first full sized quilt on Mama's Getting Crafty.
