While Jimmy is at school!

Jimmy is enjoying school! and thankfully, he is bringing the sharing attitude home to apply with his brother, sometimes...


After he's gone it's so quiet there is much napping going on, boy and feline alike... all over the house!


We do fun things, too. Like go to the beach!

There is a lot of digging to be done when one gets both shovels!

After swimming make sure to leave plenty of crumbs for the zebra doves!


There are also tricycle riding.


After you get the helmet and pads on, make sure to look for cars, this way...

Get ready to go! From the top of the driveway....


To the bottom and then push the trike back and do it again!!!

Much fun! But we have fun when Jimmy is home, too!

One Day Down... 13+ years to go...

*I'm trying not to sob while I write about this... it hasn't really hit me until just now while I am posting about it...*

Jimmy popped up out of bed proclaiming, "Today is the day!"

His very first day of school ever.

He did stop to pick some flowers for his teacher...

Jimmy had a great day and for reasons I am sure you all understand I wasn't allowed to take pictures inside the school...

Now he wants to know why he has to wait ALL WEEKEND to go back.

Jimmy found a marker... a sharpie in fact.
One cutting board was the only other casualty...
Brother was not marked up, but I don't think Joey would let him do it anyway...
I should not be surprised, we already know how much Jimmy likes markers.

We are enjoying the last few weeks before Jimmy starts school...
We watch plenty of train videos,




Like to watch mama ironing, especially when she uses steam...it sounds like a train!


After a long swim, mama's bed is the best place for a nap...
